In addition to developing their English language skills, Pingu’s English provides valuable lessons in socialization, numeracy and computer skills through a fun and engaging syllabus. Mrs. Wesam Dalba Salhi, Pingu’s English Master Franchisee for Palestine commented “We are delighted to welcome the esteemed Montessori School to Pingu’s English Palestine, after an agreement with Early Learning Center to work as Sub Unit Franchise in Ramallah and Al Bireh cities. Parents are giving their children the opportunity to really enjoy being immersed in a foreign language and get motivated to learn.”
Mrs Dalba Salhi is encouraging other Schools in Palestine to run Pingu’s English classes and pointing to the success of the “Palestinian American School”, located in Al Bireh city and well known for its high standards, which has already successfully included Pingu’s English program. “This opens up new opportunities and possibilities to early child education in Palestine. Pingu’s English makes English fun to teach and fun to learn. Learning a new language promotes the cognitive development of the children and boosts self-confidence, with lots of fun and motivation. Everyone has a better time here. ”
Palestinians in general place great importance on education. Not only as a means to increase employability and standards of living but also as part of the Palestinian culture. Through the work of Early Learning Centre and Pingu’s English, young Palestinians have access to learning opportunities that transform lives, building foundations for a brighter future.
According to Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, 3,220 Kindergartens were operating throughout the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza Strip in 2015, providing enterprising educators with huge scope for investment in the education and development in Palestine.
