Pingu’s English Thailand is helping deliver Cambridge Assessment English test to Thai children through its Unit Licensees in the country.
Laemthong U-patham School is one of Pingu’s English Thailand’ School Licensees, delivering Pingu’s English ELT Level 1,2,3 for Kindergarten together with the Advanced Course 1,2,3 for Primary students. This is based on CEFR Pre A1 Starters and A1 Movers for Primary, as per the Thailand National Education Framework.
Percentage of Primary 3 students within scale soared from 20% in 2015 to 49% in 2018 for CEFR Pre A1 Starters.
All students of Primary 3 who take Pre A1 Starters this year learned Pingu’s English Level 3 in 2015, Advanced Course 1 in 2016, and Advanced Course 2 in 2017 and completed the Advanced Course 3 in 2018.
The fantastic achievement of Laemthong U-patham on CEFR Pre A1 starters is truly the pride of Pingu’s English, showing how effectively Leamthong U-patham School, Club Academia and Pingu’s English Head Office have collaborated and created such important and productive cooperation.
Let’s look at some numbers:
– in 2015, total number of students taking Pre A1 Starters was 70, percentage of students whose scores are within scale was 20%;
– in 2016, figures were 47 and 13% respectively;
– in 2017, figures were 61 and 28% respectively;
– in 2018, figures were 51 and 49% respectively.
