What makes our curriculum unique?
Our new, three-year, full-time Pingu’s English kindergarten curriculum is based on the globally recognised Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) principles from the UK.
The EYFS curriculum is the government-created curriculum for all early years’ settings and schools in the United Kingdom.
University of Kingston London’s expertise and experience with the EYFS has shaped and influenced the Pingu’s English international kindergarten curriculum.
However, in order to create a truly international model, Pingu’s English and Kingston University London has weaved in methodologies from the strongest elements of other international curricula too, including Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Swedish Forest Schools, and Singapore’s Nurturing Early Learners.
As well as developing proficiency in the English language, Pingu’s English’s robust curriculum develops a student’s skills in maths, arts, health, science and culture that come alive through games, focused-learning and engaging activities.
Children explore the world of animals, numbers, colors and shapes, food, family and friends, customs, belongings through play, drawings, crafts, as well as practising important skills for their future such as English and numeracy with qualified teachers.
